HOW IT DIFFERS
ICX7150-C12P-2X10GR is the routed, 10GbE version of the compact 12 port switch. Its two SFP+ uplinks run at 10GbE as shipped, and its maker line lists advanced Layer 3 with OSPF, VRRP, PIM and PBR included. The ICX7150-C12P-2X1G has two SFP uplinks at 1GbE and base Layer 3, with a licence path to 10GbE. Both are fanless, so both suit a desk, a shop floor shelf or a meeting room where fan noise is not welcome. Both power 12 PoE+ ports from a 124W budget. Take the R model when this small switch must route for a branch or pass 10GbE up to the core. Take the 2X1G when it only extends a few powered ports from a bigger switch nearby.
